Playtech adds slots to mobile bingo offering
Solutions provider also announces launch of dot.es bingo network

Playtech has launched eight new slot titles for its mobile bingo offering, the London-listed software provider announced today.
The slots will be embedded on its mobile bingo site, which is integrated with the Virtue Fusion web-based platform, with the games also available in full-screen mode through Playtech’s native apps and on its HTML5-optimised Mobile Hub product.
Head of bingo Rhys Owen said the “exponential” growth of mobile bingo has made it “a key focus” in the software provider’s product development. He explained that by using an HTML5 template the firm could “quickly plug in existing assets from our popular catalogue of games”, bringing Playtech “much closer to completing a consistent offering between our web and mobile solutions”.
The firm has also rolled out its Virtue Fusion bingo network into a third territory, with a Spanish-facing network augmenting dot.com and dot.it versions. It marks the subsidiary’s first major launch under the leadership of former Chartwell Games CEO Dan Phillips, who was appointed as Virtue Fusion’s chief operating officer last September.
Playtech first launched its mobile bingo product in August 2012, with Paddy Power and William Hill among the first operators to go live with the offering. At the time, Owen described the launch as “a significant step for Playtech in terms of cementing our position as the leading supplier of bingo software in the industry”.
