Delaware chooses SciGames, 888 and Williams Interactive for egaming

The Delaware Lottery has selected a joint bid by Scientific Games, 888 and Williams Interactive to provide it with online gambling services, eGaming Review has learned.
Scientific Games, the current supplier of Delaware’s retail lottery products, partnered with 888 and Williams Interactive for the bid, which will supply a poker platform and casino content respectively. A source at one of the successful bidders confirmed the joint entity will now aim to launch an online gaming site in the state by the end of the year.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) was announced in February giving interested parties just over a month to submit their bids. Other applicants included PokerStars parent company Rational Group, IGT, Amaya Gaming and Bally Technologies.
Stars’ deal to buy New Jersey casino still alive
PokerStars’ bid to acquire an Atlantic City casino could still succeed after the operator won a temporary restraining order blocking sellers Colony Capital from pulling out of the agreement.
The deal, worth around US$15m, appeared to have fallen through last week after the owner’s of the Atlantic Club Casino and Hotel announced it had been terminated “in accordance with its terms”. However Stars filed a lawsuit in the New Jersey Superior Court seeking to block Colony Capital from breaching the purchase agreement signed in December 2012.

Ongame has signed up Cogetech‘s IziPoker brand to its dot.it network. “The signing of Cogetech is an important achievement for us in a key market,” said David Baazov, CEO of Ongame parent company Amaya Gaming. The operator joins the likes of Unibet and Casino di Venezia on the network, which ranks third for Italian cash game traffic according to Pokerscout.
Evolution Gaming has reached a deal to provide Unibet‘s Belgian-facing casino with a live roulette offering, with native Flemish-speaking dealers. “We have seen the vital role that experienced native speaking dealers can play when launching a new online service into newly regulated markets”, said the operator’s Belgian country manager Dennis Marien.
Malta-based developer Yggdrasil Gaming has released four 3D video keno titles aimed at online lottery operators. The news comes after the company was awarded its Class 4 licence by the Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA). “Yggdrasil is spearheading the progression from retail to online within the lottery market,” said CEO Fredrik Elmqvist.

Sportradar-owned data provider Sportstat has extended its deal with World Snooker to continue delivering data from the sporting body’s events until 2018. World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn expressed his hope that Sportradar’s agreement to take majority ownership of Sportstat earlier this year would pave the way for “even more exciting live betting and media products to enter the market”.
Web and HTML5 developer CORE Gaming has launched its first Evel Knievel slot on Sky Vegas‘ online and mobile portals. The launch comes as part of the software provider’s exclusive contract to develop slot titles around the Knievel estate.
Live dealer casino supplier Ezugi has signed a deal to supply Slovakian operator Tom Horn with its full product suite. With Flash and HTML5 variants of each game, Ezugi’s titles can be played across all platforms, and come with full social media integration, allowing players to update Facebook statuses and tweet without leaving the gaming tables. Tom Horn’s business director Ondrej Lapides commented that the deal would allow his firm to broaden its offer, adding that he believes it will “prove a great asset in terms of acquisition and player satisfaction”.
