Betradar launches Live Sports Centre solution
Multi-platform solution offers live content and graphics for football betting - tennis and Formula 1 to follow.

Sports data provider Betradar has announced the launch of Live Sports Centre, a new solution which will allow egaming operators to offer live data and graphics during sporting events.
The solution is available online and across iPhone and iPad devices, while a web-based mobile version is also in place.
“We took a conscious decision to focus on high flexibility [so] bookmakers are able to pick and choose between the available components to perfectly suit their needs,” said Erik Lorenz, managing director of sales with Betradar parent company Sportradar.
It has initially been made available for football, and will allow sports betting sites to offer visualisation of on-pitch action across 25 different leagues worldwide.
Betradar has also announced plans to roll out the solution for tennis and Formula 1, while the football solution will soon be augmented with a “ball spotting” feature.
The addition of tennis follows a deal signed last year with the International Tennis Federation, which came into force this year and gives Sportradar exclusive distribution rights on live data from selected tournaments.
A spokesman for Betradar told eGaming Review the addition of tennis and Formula 1 would likely happen “before the end of this year”, though there is no firm timeframe in place at present.
The spokesman also noted that the provider was working on native Android apps to increase its mobile reach, and he said the company hopes the flexibility offered will make Live Sport Centre appealing to operators of all sizes.
Last week saw Sportradar reveal it had taken a majority stake in data provider Sports Statistics and Information Systems (SportStat).
SportStat’s main focus includes rugby union, darts and snooker, however there are no plans at the moment to add more sports to the three already due to come under the Live Sports Centre umbrella.
