Bally strikes deal with Washington tribe
Service provider to allow Colville tribe access to iGaming Platform and mobile solution.

Bally Technologies has signed a deal to provide the Colville Tribal Federal Corporation with a freeplay online gaming site including poker, slots and table games.
Colville owns three properties in Washington, the Mill Bay Casino, the Okanogan Bingo Casino and the Coulee Dam Casino, and becomes the first Washington tribe to make a move into online gambling.
Bally announced the agreement yesterday, as well as a deal with gaming supplier Ainsworth to incorporate online casino content into its iGaming Platform.
Bally Technologies vice president of business development John Connelly said of the deal: “The opportunity to partner with Colville Tribal Casinos on these initiatives is an honour for us. This partnership represents the first egaming agreement announced in the State of Washington and we are confident our award-winning technology will make a significant and positive impact in numerous areas of their business.”
Online gambling is yet to be legalised in the state, while last month a bill aiming to reverse a law making online gambling a felony equal to five years in prison and a US$10,000 fine failed to survive a committee hearing.
This week Bally also reached an agreement with GeoComply to incorporate geolocation technology into its iGaming Platform.
February saw Stratosphere Casino-owner and fellow Nevada online poker licensee American Casino & Entertainment Properties (ACEP) launch itsfreeplay poker site using the platform, with a real-money version due for launch later this year. The Golden Nugget, which has properties in both Nevada and New Jersey, has also signed up to Bally’s platform and launched a freeplay offering.
Although the software provides content from several suppliers, Bally recently extended its agreement with Amaya Gaming to confirm that Ongame was to become its preferred online poker partner.
