Slots Tracker: NetEnt’s perfect 2023 continues after retaining top spot
Starburst is the title to beat as Pragmatic Play and NetEnt games account for more than 50% of top 20 in February

NetEnt’s Starburst retained its gold medal position at the top of the EGR Slots Tracker after last month’s major shake up.
Starburst ousted long-term top title Book of Dead by Play’n GO following a shift in methodology, with the game holding its own in February.
Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza was unmoved in second place while Book of Dead jumped up one spot to finish in third.
Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Bonanza slipped from third to fourth place while fellow Pragmatic Play title Big Bass Splash remained in fifth.
One of the big movers in February was Gates of Olympus by Pragmatic Play which jumped from 10th to sixth place between January and February.
February’s highest climber was Pragmatic Play’s Wolf Gold, which moved from 27th place in January to finish 20th in February.
Pragmatic Play boasts six titles in the top 20, trailed by NetEnt with five.
Gameburger Studios’ 9 Pots of Gold, previously in 14th place, was the highest-ranking title from January to fall out of the rankings.
Elsewhere, EGM also detailed the top-ranking new slots released since 1 December 2022.
Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz retained its top spot from January following its 20 December release.
SpinPlay Games’ Wild Link Frenzy (31 January release) and Wolf Blaze Megaways by Fortune Factory Studios (7 February release) took the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the new games rankings.
Wolf Blaze Megaways was the title with the latest release date to secure a spot in the top 20.
Play’n GO’s Legacy of Inca, Pragmatic Play’s Fire Archer and Hacksaw Gaming’s Bloodthirst were all released on 2 February and netted top 20 places.
In January 2023, EGR added a new data partner, eGaming Monitor (EGM), to track casino sites and help collate the monthly rankings.
EGM tracks game pages of more than 2,400 casino sites globally, with the European charts being based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.
EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratch cards, slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.
In February, EGM tracked 11,163 games from 347 studios in 23 European regulated markets including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
