DraftKings partners with Buffalo Wild Wings for in-restaurant DFS
Operator has developed the unique ‘Blazin’ Fantasy Football game’ for the upcoming NFL season

DraftKings has announced an exclusive partnership with restaurant chain Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) to develop a custom fantasy game only available to in-restaurant customers.
The so-called Blazin’ Fantasy Football game will run throughout the NFL season and will reward 600 weekly winners with prizes like free wings and gift cards.
The weekly contest, played via the BWW Rewards app, includes four opportunities to win every Sunday, starting at the beginning of each half of the 1pm and 4pm football games.
Guests will form a standard team with one ‘Blazin’ Pick’ who will receive double the points in that game.
Guests will be able to re-draft or maintain their line-up at each game’s half-time.
“We are excited to partner with Buffalo Wild Wings to offer sports fans a unique, in-store fantasy product this football season,” said Ezra Kucharz, DraftKing’s chief business officer.
“Our mission has always been to create innovative and exciting ways for fans to engage with their favourite sports and our Blazin’ Fantasy Football product is an excellent example.”
Buffalo Wild Wings has previously been rumored to be interested into getting into sports betting to take advantage of its sports-mad customer base. The firm reiterated today it was “actively exploring opportunities, including potential partners” int the area.
“As America’s largest sports bar, millions of fans spend their game days at Buffalo Wild Wings each week,” said Paul Brown, CEO of parent company Inspire Brands.
“We are thrilled to partner with the industry leader in fantasy, DraftKings, to deliver an experience to our guests that they can’t get anywhere else.”
The restaurant chain will also be the the official presenting sponsor of the DraftKings’ Thursday Night Showdown contest.
