Beter promotes from within for esports general manager role
Evgeniy Bekker takes up the newly created role after almost two years with the provider

Beter has promoted Evgeniy Bekker from chief trading officer to esports general manager in a newly created role for the provider.
Bekker joined the firm in December 2020 from AsianLogic and took on an active role in the company’s growth and success of its betting product and solutions.
Before working at AsianLogic, he had a stint at industry giant bet365 as a trading in-play analyst from October 2015 to June 2017. Bekker also spent nearly five years with sports betting provider Offside Gaming.
On his appointment, Bekker said: “I’m proud to take on this role as Esports general manager. Esports has catapulted into the mainstream in the last few years and is rapidly challenging traditional sports as a top discipline across all gaming verticals.
“I have full confidence that our team will unlock the full potential of esports betting and offer our partners something very exciting.”
Elsewhere, Beter recently extended its partnership with prominent esports firm Bayes Esports, allowing the provider to supply better esports data and products to its partners with the help of Bayes’ analytics and data management solution.
