
32Red in Film4 sponsorship deal
Casino operator ties up sponsorship deal with with Channel 4's film-focused television station as it looks to finalise further marketing deals

32Red has announced a six-figure marketing deal with Channel 4 which will see the casino operator sponsor Late Night Film on Film4.
The 12-month partnership, which got underway on 25 September, features 32Red’s branding around both the 11pm and 1am film screenings every night of the week.
32Red is using animated idents comprising of casino related imagery presented as a homage to graphic designer and Academy Award winning filmmaker Saul Bass.
Film4 is the UK’s biggest dedicated film channel with a weekly reach of over 12 million individuals and 32Red hope to tie up further media sponsorship deals in the coming months.
“We are thrilled to sponsor the Late Night Film on Film4 – it was an obvious choice for us.” said Mark Quayle, head of marketing at 32Red.
“It is the first of many major TV sponsorships for our flagship brand, 32Red Online Casino and we are confident that the association with such a strong brand will hugely increase the awareness of 32Red in the UK.”
The operator recently announced a strong start to H2 2013 performance with a 27% year-on-year rise in revenues during the first 10 weeks of the six-month period.
The news followed a positive set of H1 revenues which rose to £19m, up from £16.5m the previous year with the operator’s flagship casino product contributing £16.9m of its overall income (91%).
In July, the operator announced a two-year sponsorship deal with Italian Serie A football club Bologna, which the operator hopes will boost performance in its burgeoning Italian business.
