32Red seals new football sponsorship deals
Operator signs shirt deals with English league clubs Crawley Town and Newport County

32Red has become the new sponsor of English football club Crawley Town after signing a two-year shirt sponsorship deal.
The Gibraltar-based operator has also become the shirt sponsor of Newport County for the Welsh club’s first season back in the English football league in 25 years.
32Red marketing director Mark Quayle described the agreements as a move to “invest in the roots of football,” having previously sponsored Premier League clubs Swansea City and Aston Villa.
The announcements come less than three months after the Gibraltar-based operator ended a similar agreement with Premier League club Swansea City. CEO Ed Ware had said at the time “if something comes up in football that we like then we’d go for it”.
Crawley finished last season in 10th place in League 1, English football’s third tier – the highest placing in the club’s history, and 32Red’s logo will feature on the club’s home and away shirts for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons.
Crawley Town commercial director Ewan Dunlop described the operator as “an internationally renowned company with a well-known brand”, citing its “excellent track record of working with football clubs” like Swansea and Aston Villa.
Newport won promotion to the fourth tier last month after 25 years in non-league football, and chief executive Dave Boddy described the sponsorship deal as a “massive step forward” for the club.
