
888 launches new responsible gambling ad campaign
London-listed operator unveils new safer gambling initiative with tagline ‘too much is too much’


888 Holdings has released a new safer gambling advertising campaign in the UK to help raise awareness of problematic gambling behaviour.
The campaign, launched alongside the slogan ‘too much is too much’, uses everyday situations to promote moderation and highlight the dangers of excess.
The ad series went live on 5 January on UK television and in the national press and will also run until 18 January across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
888 CEO Itai Pazner said the initiative was designed to ensure customers can visit the operator’s website “with confidence and safety”.
Pazner said: “This advertising campaign is aimed at raising awareness of excessive gambling by using scenarios that anyone can relate to. We want to help customers think about the way they gamble.”
Pazner added: “At 888, we put customer safety at the heart of everything we do and we are continuously investing significant resources to ensure customers can enjoy a safe and secure gaming environment with us.”
888 posted a 23% year-on-year rise in revenue from the UK at $97.6m for H1 2019.
