888's casino vertical to be given exposure on Sky Sports after agreeing title sponsor deal
888casino has struck a deal to become title sponsor of snooker’s fast paced Shoot-Out event which runs takes place in Blackpool in January.
The one-frame knockout competition, which sees the world’s top 64 players invited to compete in the three-day event, will be broadcast live by Sky Sports.
“The 888casino Snooker Shoot-Out will join several other partnerships we have made with the popular sport recently and over the years,” said Itai Pazner, senior vice president of 888.com
“The fast paced format should offer an entertaining event that we hope the fans and our customers will truly enjoy,” he added.
“Snooker is a rapidly growing sport and the exposure we can offer for the 888casino.com brand has led them to get involved with a range of events this season,” said Barry Hearn, chairman of World Snooker.
888casino recently agreed a deal to become title sponsor of snooker’s Champion of Champions event which takes place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena in November.
