888’s finance chief steps down after 15 years
Aviad Kobrine to depart the Gibraltar-headquartered operator in 2020

888 Holdings has confirmed that chief financial officer (CFO) Aviad Kobrine will leave the business in 2020 after more than 15 years with the operator.
Kobrine, who joined the Gibraltar-based firm in 2004, will remain in his position until a replacement is found.
Kobrine was named 888 CFO in 2005 following an IPO. The firm is now listed on the London Stock Exchange.
888 chairman Brian Mattingley paid tribute to Kobrine for his “outstanding contribution” to the business, having played a “significant role” in the operator’s transformation over the last decade.
“Aviad has been an integral part of the leadership team throughout a transformational period for the company,” said Mattingley.
“Over recent years, he has supported 888’s growth into new markets whilst also helping the group to successfully manage and navigate significant changes in our industry.
“On behalf of everyone at 888, I would like to wish Aviad every success for the future. We will provide a further update as and when appropriate,” he added.
888 CEO Itai Pazner spoke to EGR Intel last week following the operator’s full-year trading update.
