William Hill US names new director of bookmaking
CEO claims company has built "best bookmaking team ever assembled in Nevada".

William Hill US has appointed veteran Nevada bookmaker Nick Bogdanovich as director of bookmaking.
Bogdanovic was previously director of bookmaking operations at Reno-based Club Cal-Neva, which had 27 sportsbooks throughout Nevada, including Binion’s and Four Queens in Las Vegas.
William Hill spent US$55m in April last year acquiring Club Cal-Neva, American Wagering and Brandywine Bookmaking. The deals were completed last month after Hills obtained its Nevada gaming licence.
Bogdanovich will work with American Wagering bookmaker Bob Davis, now senior trader at William Hill US in Las Vegas, and Brandywine bookmaker Tony DiTommaso, now named deputy director of trading.
William Hill US CEO Joe Asher said of the appointments: “This is evidence of a long-term perspective that William Hill is taking. Having three senior guys who are incredibly talented only makes sense if you are taking a long-term view.
“William Hill is going to be here long after I’m dead and I hope to live a long time. We have built the best bookmaking team ever assembled in Nevada.”
The company is due to release interim results for the first half of 2012 on Friday.
