PokerStars relaunches casino in Spain with live dealer games
Casino client back up and running after technical glitch forced PokerStars to withdraw from the market in January
PokerStars has relaunched its online casino client in Spain with the addition of live dealer games after addressing a technical glitch which forced the operator to withdraw the platform last month.
Speaking to eGaming Review this morning, a PokerStars spokesperson said the casino was back up and running while also announcing the addition of a live roulette room.
“Players are going to be able to enjoy the authentic, honest and trusted experience of PokerStars in a live casino experience,” Sam Hobcraft, director of casino the Rational Group, said.
“We believe players are going to enjoy the convenience of being able to play poker and live casino games in the same place,” he added.
PokerStars’ transition into a multi-vertical operator under new owners Amaya took a major step forward after completing the global roll-out of its casino platform on schedule in January.
The operator also continues to build momentum behind its sportsbook, which looks set for a broad European launch in the coming months with the Nordics and Eastern Europe likely target regions.
