Africa’s BetLion extends sportsbook supply deal with FSB Tech
Victor Chandler-backed betting operator seals four-year agreement with London-based supplier

BetLion has extended its sportsbook software supply agreement with FSB Tech for an additional four years.
The African betting operator was established in 2017 following a three-year hiatus from the gambling industry for Victor Chandler, after he sold his stake in BetVictor to Michael Tabor in 2014.
The platform is focused on the African market and has witnessed strong growth in the east of the continent, especially in Kenya and Zambia.
FSB has powered the BetLion online and mobile sportsbook since 2017 and will continue to do so until at least 2024 following the success of the partnership.
Oliver Bates, BetLion CEO, said a combination of FSB’s local knowledge and adaptability convinced the group to prolong the partnership.
Bates said: “Extending our partnership with FSB was an easy decision to make. It is clear they understand the potential of the African market and are focused on delivering a product that can evolve quickly within this rapidly changing market.
“Their unique platform has allowed us to enter markets across the continent with the FSB product, together with our own proprietary technologies. We look forward to continuing to grow alongside them,” he added.
Dave McDowell, FSB CEO, said: “We are delighted to have extended our relationship with BetLion for another four years. They have enjoyed incredible growth since launching with us in 2017 and we look forward to more success in partnership with them.”
