Amaya and CIE enter online casino partnership
New Jersey-facing CaesarsCasino.com will feature Amaya's real-money casino games and third party content
Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE) has partnered with Amaya Gaming to launch an online casino to the New Jersey market via the Canadian supplier’s egaming platform.
The deal, subject to a successful licensing process, will see Amaya’s own content and third party games offered on CaesarsCasino.com.
Under the terms of the agreement, Amaya will receive a share of the revenue generated by the site in New Jersey and a percentage of the revenue generated by the online casino games it licenses to CIE for use in the portal.
CIE looks set to be among the first operators to launch in the Garden State with both poker and casino games. Its WSOP.com poker product will be powered by 888 technology while its primary casino supplier had, until now, remained unknown.
“This is an immense win for us, one that should extend our online gaming footprint significantly in the United States as well as contribute to our recurring revenue in future years,” David Baazov (pictured), CEO of Amaya Gaming Group, said.
“It is the direct result of the investments we have made in both our Amaya Game Office platform, which has gained significant traction, and in preparation for our entry into the emerging regulated online gaming industry in the United States.”
Mitch Garber, CEO of Caesars Interactive, added that the deal allows the operator to conduct cross-promotional activities with Caesars hotels.
