Amaya extends Bally content agreement
Provider to offer online casino and poker through Bally's iGaming Platform - renewal of deal incorporates Mohegan Sun agreement.

Amaya Gaming has extended its memorandum of understanding with Bally Technologies which will see Amaya-owned Ongame become Bally’s preferred online poker partner.
The extension of an existing agreement now officially incorporates last year’s deal which will see the Mohegan Sun casino use Ongame for its freeplay offering, however a spokesman for Ongame told eGaming Review: “The deal is not restricted to the US, even though US is Bally’s strongest market.”
In addition to poker from Ongame, the MoU covers casino content from Amaya, which acquired casino providers Chartwell and CryptoLogic in 2011 before finalising the 15m acquisition of Ongame from bwin.party last year.
Describing Ongame as “a world leader in the online poker space,” Bally VP of business development John Connelly (pictured) said: “This relationship further validates the current transformation within the online gaming sector, which integrates traditional and online casino systems, allowing casino operators to protect their data, while offering their customers best in class content.”
It will also incorporate Instant Rewards, the new tool on Ongame which allows players to earn cash or tournament tickets by unlocking personalised achievements.
Amaya Gaming VP of business development Darcy Krogh said: “The combination of Bally and Amaya should provide casino operators and their players many benefits of a strong strategic alliance, bringing state of the art poker and casino content to the market.”
