Amaya to add more deals in New Jersey
Gaming supplier's CEO David Baazov (pictured) says CaesarsCasino.com will be ready to launch by Garden State's official go-live date

Amaya Gaming, who signed a deal with Caesars Interactive Entertainment this week, expects to sign more partnerships before the go-live date in New Jersey, according to the Canadian supplier’s CEO David Baazov.
As part of a non-exclusive deal announced on Tuesday, Amaya is to run the New Jersey-facing CaesarsCasino.com platform featuring more than 100 proprietary and third-party games.
And Baazov told eGaming Review he expects similar online partnerships involving Amaya’s casino, poker and platform products to be revealed before the state’s proposed go-live date of 26 November.
“We are presently working on several other deals within New Jersey that are expected to be announced very soon,” he said.
He did, however, confirm that no poker product would exist on CIE’s casino platform.
“Currently our agreement [with CIE] is focused entirely on Amaya’s casino product offering, including both web and mobile platforms. We will be in a strong position to offer poker in New Jersey and hope to be the provider of choice when CaesarsCasino.com moves forward into the poker space.”
Baazov said was confident Amaya’s platform would help CIE be in the first group of operators to go live in the Garden State, adding that integration work with the Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) for testing and product approvals has taken place already.
“With the vigorous lead-up work that has already been performed, we are in the advanced stages of approval,” he said. “We expect a smooth transition from preparation through to the official go-live date.”
This week’s deal will see Amaya receive a share of the revenue generated by the site in New Jersey and a percentage of the revenue generated by the online casino games it licenses to CIE for use in the portal.
Amaya’s Ongame poker software will feature in New Jersey under the Golden Nugget brand, after the casino’s partner Bally Technologies selected it as it preferred poker product.
The online arm of Las Vegas-based American Casino & Entertainment Properties (ACEP) has also launched a freeplay poker product using Ongame and will launch a real-money version once it is approved to do so.
