Angler Gaming launches first online casino games
Betsson subsidiary's offering will initially target the Mexican and Chilean markets.

Betsson subsidiary Angler Gaming has launched a new Latin-America facing online casino brand which will initially focus on the Mexican and Chilean markets.
CasinoEstrella.com will feature more than 100 games in total and offer live casino games including blackjack, roulette and baccarat.
Malta-based Angler Gaming, established by Betsson in April, owns Curaçao-licensed company Starfish and is headed up by Michael Bennett, who has served as a director of Paddy Power, GTECH G2 and RedBet. It was listed on the Aktietorget stock exchange in July.
Starfish Media CEO Hans Dahlgren said of the launch: “The Starfish-crew has put in a tremendous amount of work these last few months to ensure the target release window was met and the result speaks for itself – a high quality website built on a stable yet flexible platform which has been customised to meet our needs.
“CasinoEstrella will target Latin America with the initial markets being Mexico and Chile. We shall continue to expand into other markets in the region during Q4 as more local supplier contracts are finalised,” he added.
Dahlgren also said its affiliate system iGamingPartners would be launched in time for the Barcelona Affiliate Conference in October.
