ARJEL approves new games
ARJEL has given approval to PMU and SPS Betting to operate new gaming software and to an 888 subsidiary to operate under additional domain names.

French egaming regulator ARJEL has approved a number of existing operators for new games and activities, including a subsidiary of 888 Holdings.
ARJEL has approved horse racing betting firms Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) and SPS Betting to operate new gaming software, while it also gave permission for 888 Regulated Markets to operate under additional domain names.
PMU and SPS Betting were among the first wave of egaming licences awarded by ARJEL in June this year, while 888 has a French licence for its joint poker network with Microgaming.
PMU has entered various partnerships in the last 18 months, including a tie with PartyGaming to offer a poker product, a B2B deal with Paddy Power and a contract with Openbet to provide its software. SPS Betting launched an online sports betting product with Eurosport in May.
ARJEL also approved a letter sent to licensed operators reminding them of their legal obligations regarding white labelling and affiliate sites.
3D poker site PKR’s French room went live on Friday, following the issue of its licence by ARJEL in August.
