Bally and Aristocrat to combine online poker liquidity
Advanced discussions already underway with several poker providers looking to enter U.S. market
Bally Technologies and Aristocrat Technologies have announced a strategic alliance to combine online poker liquidity and share online slot content for the U.S. market.
The new agreement will see Bally and Aristocrat working together to procure shared third-party online poker providers, whose product can then be integrated into their respective iGaming platforms.
Advanced discussions with several poker providers “ who are likely to be attracted by the greater liquidity on offer by working with two established names “ are currently underway.
The two gaming technology firms will continue to compete for customers with their gaming systems and content.
Both Bally and Aristocrat offer iGaming platforms with an integration to their back-end core system solutions. Bally recently announced an acquisition of Chiligaming’s iGaming platform, while Aristocrat collaborates with GameAccount Network on a free-play basis.
The companies also plan to share their slot content for online deployment in the U.S, which will initially be made available for free-play and eventually real-money wagering when legalised.
Richard Haddrill, chief executive officer of Bally Technologies, said customers are looking to provide online poker for their players when the market opens and are looking to their trusted suppliers to help them do so.
“By teaming up, Bally and Aristocrat can source and integrate with the strongest online poker product, specifically tailored for this market, which can help our customers maintain their leadership position in both land-based and online gaming,” Haddrill said.
