Belgian Gaming Commission confirms approved sites
Nine sites approved to offer dot.be egaming sites, including PokerStars and Partouche.

The Belgian Gaming Commission has named nine sites among the first wave of approved sites in the newly regulating market.
eGaming Review named eight of the sites in November, and PokerStars, Partouche and the six others have been joined by sports betting operator Betfirst.
The commission is expected to announce the first names on its unlicensed operator blacklist later this month, once the approved sites receive official licences, with bwin.party – which continues to offer dot.com egaming to Belgian residents – among those which may be included.
Bwin.party remains convinced that Belgium’s regulations are not compliant with EU law, an opinion shared by lobby group the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA).
At the time of writing, the Belgian Gaming Commission could not be reached for further comment on when the blacklist would be drawn up.
