Belgium adds four more to blacklist
Betsafe and InterCasino among latest additions

Egaming domains held by Betsson and Amaya Gaming are among the latest to be added to Belgium’s blacklist of unlicensed sites.
Betsafe and Intercasino were also among the 28 domains blacklisted in Bulgaria last month, and the two are joined on the Belgian list by the dot.com domains 1Bet2Bet and Casino-Belgie.
One new licence has been issued in the last month, to the e-lotto.be site, with the lottery operator’s offering covered by the F1+ licence category usually assigned to sportsbetting operators.
Betsson, whose Betsson.com domain has been blacklisted in Belgium since May last year, bought fellow Malta licensee Betsafe for 60m in 2011.
Intercasino, also licensed in Malta, is a CryptoLogic brand taken over by Amaya following the acquisition of its fellow Canadian firm last year.
The Belgian Gaming Commission is now than three quarters of the way towards the 100 domains it initially anticipated to name on the blacklist. The commission has issued seven licences for poker and casino, 10 for sportsbetting and 28 for dice and arcade-style games.
