Bet365 dominates Italian online sports betting rankings for September
The Stoke-headquartered operator raked in €10m of gross gaming revenue last month
Bet365 has topped the rankings for Italian online sports betting in September as the operator’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) hit €10m for the month.
SKS365 retained the runner-up spot with GGR of €8.3m, finishing ahead of Playtech-owned retail giant Snaitech, which ended September with €7.4m.
Eurobet (€6.2m) and Sisal (€5.4m) rounded off the top five, while Goldbet (€5.2m) was the only other operator to bring in September revenues of more than €5m.
Bet365 once again dominated the rankings for turnover last month after raking in €212m, working on a margin of 4.7%, beating closest rival Eurobet, which turned over €69m.
The Stoke-headquartered betting giant grabbed 29% of market share as a percentage of turnover in September, once again ahead of Eurobet (9.6%), Snaitech (9.2%), SKS365 (9%) and Sisal (7.8%).
Overall GGR for Italy’s 18 biggest online betting operators totalled €56.3m last month.
Bet365 was named Sports Betting Operator of the Year at October’s EGR Italy Awards 2019.
