Bet365 pulls clear of rivals in June Italian online betting rankings
Stoke-headquartered operator dominates June figures as last month’s closet competitor SKS365 slips behind Snaitech
Bet365 has topped the rankings for Italian online sports betting in June as the operator’s gross gaming revenue (GGR) hit €9.1m.
Playtech-owned Snaitech climbed the ranks to second place with GGR of €5.3m, while Rome-based SKS365, runners-up in May, fell to third position with GGR of €4.8m.
Eurobet (€3.8m) and Sisal (€3.7m) rounded off the top five, while Goldbet was the only other operator to bring in June revenues of more than €3m (€3.5m).
Bet365 once again dominated the rankings for turnover last month after taking in €162.4m, working on a margin of 5.6%, way out in front Snaitech who turned over €45.3m.
The UK betting giant enjoyed 32.4% of market share as a percentage of turnover in May, once again ahead of Snaitech (9%), Eurobet (8.6%), SKS365 (8.1%) and Sisal (7.7%).
Overall GGR for Italy’s 18 biggest online betting operators totalled €39.7m last month.
