Bet365 launches Watch & Bet for mobile
Live streaming offering goes live on Apple and Android devices.
Bet365 has launched a mobile version of Perform’s Watch & Bet service, offering live streaming of a variety of sporting events on Apple and Android devices.
The deal is an extension of the Stoke-based operator’s existing online agreement with the London-listed streaming provider, although not all sports covered by Perform’s online licence will be made available to mobile customers.
Ross MacEacharn, Watch & Bet MD, told eGaming Review he was unsure whether Watch & Bet would be taken onto the mobile platform by other partner operators before the end of the year, but added: “One would hope they would embrace it given their praise for mobile”.
Other operators offering Watch & Bet include Unibet and NordicBet, while VivaroBet was signed up earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Perform has exercised its option to acquire the remaining 49% of Dutch sports information provider Global Sports Media (GSM) for a cash consideration of 4.3m.
GSM owns websites including football information portal Soccerway.com, which has 3.5million unique monthly users.
