Betclic signs QuickFire deal
Microgaming-powered casino games provider to supply Betclic Everest brand.

Microgaming-powered, open casino games platform provider QuickFire has gone live with Betclic, providing the operator with a selection of games for its dot.com site.
The deal sees a number of Microgaming’s products launched on the Betclic Games site, including a number of European slots, jackpot games and video slots, with the operator’s head of gaming development Stuart McCarthy explaining that the rapid integration process and product portfolio had influenced his decision to select QuickFire:
“The high volume of innovative games rolled out to players was one of the reasons why we chose Quickfire, powered by Microgaming.
“It was a natural choice for a fast, friendly and modern operator like ourselves. We are delighted to be able to offer such a great gaming experience to our players,” McCarthy said.
The deal is the latest to be announced by Betclic Everest following CEO Ignacio Martos’ assertion that the company was staging a recovery after what he described as a “difficult” 2011 which saw the operator post losses of 90m for the year.
In late June the company’s Everest Gaming subsidiary renewed its licensing agreement with Canadian software supplier CryptoLogic, extending a deal which was originally established in 2009. This was followed by its German-facing subsidiary bet-at-home securing an Italian licence last week, after being approved to operate in the northern German Land of Schleswig-Holstein just over a month earlier.
