
Betfair launches live casino TV ad campaign
London-listed operator continues recent advertising investment with new campaign to push new mobile product
Betfair has launched a six-month TV advertising campaign to promote its mobile live casino product, backed with a major digital spend on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
The 30-second advert features a man using the mobile app while encountering various scenarios on the move, with new players offered ten free spins as a sign-up bonus.
The campaign was created by London-based WCRS with the creative agency having been awarded the egaming operator’s creative and digital accounts in May this year.
Mobile has proven to be a key revenue channel for Betfair, with revenues derived from mobile up 53% year-on-year.
“I’m delighted with the creativity and execution of the new advert. It shows our on-going commitment to growing both the gaming side of the business, as well as the mobile channel,” Mark Ody, brand director at Betfair, said.
The new campaign comes amid increasing investment in advertising channels by Betfair, having launched a new advertising campaign in the UK and Ireland to coincide with the start of the English Premier League football season in August.
The operator most recently clinched a number of key advertising slots for Channel 4’s coverage of domestic horse racing next year, trumping other operators such as bet365 in a blind auction.
