Betfair releases multiplayer dice-based games
Dice Hold'Em, Shoot the Moon and Liar's Dice all launched under the 'Poker Cubed' brand.

Betfair has announced the launch of three new multiplayer dice-based games under the ‘Poker Cubed’ banner.
‘Dice Hold’Em’ is a variant of Texas Hold’Em using dice instead of cards “ described by Betfair as “shaking up” the odds “ while other releases ‘Shoot the Moon; and ‘Liar’s Dice’ are betting-based, which allows players to bet and bluff on the values held by ten partially concealed dice.
The new games are powered by Jadestone, the Swedish solutions provider behind the launch of Betfair’s first online backgammon product.
A Betfair spokesman said: “Poker has become something of a ‘solved’ game in recent years, so we’re excited to bring a new twist to the game in the form Poker Cubed. We believe the product offers a challenge to veteran card players and newcomers alike.”
