Betfair signs media deal
Arena Media to run Betfair's media planning and buying account

Betfair has appointed Arena Media to run its media planning and buying account in a deal worth up to £2m, replacing MCHI.
CampaignLive reports that the Arena deal is Betfair’s third media agreement in the last year after Karmarama was appointed to the operator’s digital account in October, working on social media, mobile, product development and online creative, while Big Al’s Creative Emporium (BACE) was signed to work on new television advertising campaigns.
BACE previously worked with PokerStars, King.com and Paddy Power, creating the well-known ‘blind footballers’ television campaign, the most complained-about advert in 2010 according to the Advertising Standards Authority.
