Betfred to stream in-shop TV content online
Streaming provider SIS will deliver coverage of 'Betfred Bonus Hour' on Betfred.com and Totepool.com
Betfred is to start streaming content from its Betfred TV network through its Betfred.com and Totepool.com websites.
Content usually broadcast exclusively on its Betfred TV network, including the Saturday morning ‘Betfred Bonus Hour’ show, is to be made available on Betfred’s websites through the firm’s existing deal with streaming supplier Satellite Information Services (SIS).
The show has gained popularity due to the success of the Tote Scoop6 accumulator bet and regularly features Betfred founder Fred Done discussing the Saturday afternoon’s races.
Customers will be able to stream the show through desktops, mobile devices and smart televisions instead of having to be in-store.
“We are delighted to be streaming the Bonus Hour every Saturday and giving the customers of Totepool.com and Betfred.com the opportunity to watch quality previews and most importantly get some outstanding offers,” John Haddock, managing director at Betfred, said.
Betfred launched the television channel last March as a means of broadcasting horse racing content to its 1,400 stores in the UK, following moves made by other bookmakers who have done the same.
In April this year BetVictor launched its own online broadcast channel following a deal with platform provider Skylab.
