Bethard joins International Betting Integrity Association
Swedish operator signs up to suspicious betting monitoring and reporting platform

Swedish firm Bethard has become a member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), pledging to share data to help identify suspicious betting patterns.
Under the terms of the agreement, the company’s two betting brands, Bethard and Fastbet will now provide information on bets placed to the IBIA’S global monitoring and alert system.
Erik Skarp, Bethard CEO, said protecting its portfolio of brands from manipulation was a core component of the company’s policy of ensuring its customers can bet in a safe and fair way.
“No other body has the combined scope and strength of the International Betting Integrity Association’s alert platform and policy engagement with sports and regulatory authorities to help facilitate that,” Skarp said.
“Membership of the world’s leading integrity body corresponds with our vision to take Bethard to the top of the regulated sports betting market,” Skarp added.
The IBIA represents over 50 sports betting firms across the world including bet365, GVC Holdings, William Hill, Paddy Power Betfair and Betsson. Its mandate is to monitor various sports, including football, basketball, tennis and ice hockey for signs of suspicious betting and report those instances to governing bodies.
IBIA secretary general Khalid Ali hailed the addition of Bethard to the association as another important landmark in the growth of the IBIA.
“Our global monitoring and alert platform continues to expand and I am delighted to welcome Bethard to the association,” Ali added.
Bethard operates sports betting and online casino brands and is currently licensed to operate in the UK, Ireland, Sweden and Denmark. It is also currently involved in a US based sports betting and online casino joint venture with fellow operator Metric Gaming.
