Betinternet signs tennis data deal with IMG
Agreement covers in-play statistics for the ATP and WTA tennis tours

IMG subsidiary Enetpulse has signed a deal to provide Webis Holdings’ betinternet.com with real-time tennis score feeds.
The agreement will see Enetpulse, in which IMG acquired a majority stake last year, supply data from the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) World Tour. According to estimates from betinternet, in-play tennis betting is likely to represent more than 15% of the sportsbook’s turnover within 12 months.
Betinternet registered its interest in the data in January, along with SkyBet, Betfair, Interwetten and others, after IMG opened a tender for the data in October last year. Available packages include Gold, Silver and Bronze entry levels, although it is unclear which operators have paid for which packages.
In February, Webis Holdings saw turnover for the company rise 33% year-on-year for the six months ended 30 November. The bulk of the £71.4m half-yearly revenues were attributed to strong performances from casino and in-play betting through betinternet.
Some of the increase was a consequence of incremental turnover generated by August’s US-focused Cal Expo deal, signed by subsidiary European Wagering Services (EWS). The growth from betinternet follows a period of investment in the brand first announced in July last year.
