
Betsafe unveils latest Conor McGregor ad
“Walk of adversity” marketing campaign follows brand ambassadors before their sporting successes


Betsson Group brand Betsafe has launched the second phase of its “Passion overcomes the odds” marketing campaign featuring brand ambassador Conor McGregor.
UFC champion McGregor narrates the “Walk of adversity” TV and online ad, which also features jockey Sam Twiston-Davies, boxer Tony Bellew and players from Manchester City FC and Saracens Rugby Club.
The campaign follows the adversity and odds faced by each of the brand ambassadors before they succeeded as athletes.
McGregor said he was proud to lead the campaign as he shared the same commitment to success as the brand.
“Passion overcomes the odds’ is something that resonates with me because I overcame my situation through pure determination and dedication to success,” he added.
Managing director for Betsafe Nicola Fitton said: “With ‘The Walk’, we wanted to provide a genuine insight into the preparation Betsafe ambassadors put in before they step out to produce these performances in their respective arenas.”
The ad was produced by creative marketing agency SNAP London.
Elsewhere, Betsson casino brand CasinoEuro has unveiled its latest Christmas campaign which features Made in Chelsea actor Spencer Matthews.
The video ad follows Matthews singing his own version of the Twelve Days of Christmas song and offering players the opportunity to win £1,000 every day throughout December.
Two hundred London black cabs will also advertise the offer for the duration of the month.
