Betsafe and Stan James in fast-paced poker push
Betsson-owned brand goes live with Relax Gaming's 'Fast Poker' while Stan James' 'Blaze Poker' set to launch soon on Microgaming network skin.
Betsafe and Stan James have become the latest operators to join the ranks of those introducing fast-paced poker offerings to stand alongside their respective traditional products.
The former, which sits on the Ongame network and was bought by fellow Nordic operator Betsson last May, has followed Unibet and iGame, as well as Betsson itself in going live with Relax Gaming’s ‘Fast Poker’ product.
Meanwhile Stan James has given no release date for ‘Blaze Poker’, saying only that it is “coming soon to Stan James Poker”, although it would potentially be only the second game of its kind available on the Microgaming network along with Unibet’s offering.
Features of Blaze Poker include a time-bank which increases from an initial 30 seconds once players have played 50 or more hands at one table, as well as a sit out feature which positions players at empty tables until they opt to return to the overall pool.
The news comes just one day after PokerStars’ proprietary Zoom offering came out of beta and was simultaneously launched for Android mobile devices.
