Betsson develops customer support chatbot with AI platform provider
Three chatbots were built and launched across the operator’s flagship Betsson, Betsafe and NordicBet brands

Betsson has developed a series of customer support chatbots in partnership with AI-powered provider, Ada, to streamline its customer service efforts.
The three bots, built on Ada’s platform, can speak eight language and provide Betsson customers with 24 hour support across its Betsson, Betsafe and NordicBet brands.
Betsson developers built the bots in the space of a month by integrating its existing live chat function with the new service.
Betsson statement said the move would elevate its self-serve support by providing instant assistance and reducing the need for human intervention.
Betsson operational CEO Jesper Svensson said: “By implementing Ada’s AI-powered automation, our customers can now trust that support is available anytime they need it, in their first language.”
Betsson took home the EGR Nordics Awards trophy for Customer Services Operator in January.
Mike Murchison, CEO of Ada, said: “We are proud to work with Betsson to ensure the automated experience matches and enhances the high-quality, award-winning support their customers have come to expect.”
Sky Bet launched a similar chatbot solution in January 2018 in partnership with one of five start-ups that applied to its CoLab innovation contest.
Bwin launched its own automated offering during last year’s World Cup in Germany and Austria.
