Betsson’s StarCasinò seals Juventus partnership
Malta-based operator’s brand named official gaming partner of Italy’s best-supported football club

Betsson Group has expanded its football sponsorship portfolio after the operator’s StarCasinò brand struck a deal this week to become Juventus’ new official gaming partner.
The six-month deal with Italy’s best-supported club will see StarCasinò obtain wider brand exposure in the Italian market, while offering a range of “initiatives, contests and promotions” to its supporters.
According to Italian research company Demos & Pi, last year’s Serie A champions have an estimated 12 million football fans and a 29% share of the total number of Italian football fans.
“We’re really excited about this partnership with Juventus,” Andrea Rossi, managing director of StarCasinò, said.
“Entertainment, fun and excitement – these are the values that StarCasinò shares with Juventus and with the worlds of sports and football in general,” he added.
The deal follows a number of partnerships Betsson brands have signed with sports teams in recent years, including Betsafe becoming Manchester City’s official betting partner in 2015.
Last year, NordicBet also secured a deal with the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) to become the ice hockey division’s main sponsor and official betting partner.
