Better Collective inks partnership with Nigeria’s PUNCH
Affiliate giant sets sights on Africa with leading Nigerian media outlet PUNCH in new commercial deal

Better Collective has penned a content and commercial media partnership with PUNCH Nigeria.
The new deal launches immediately and will see the Stockholm-listed affiliate run PUNCH’s digital platform and leading Nigerian website, Punchng.com.
During the contract period, Better Collective will use its technology and content expertise to implement and run a high-quality and commercial sports betting section for PUNCH with English-language content.
The new partnership is Better Collective’s first foray into Africa. While most of PUNCH’s audience is based in Nigeria, its reach extends to other parts of Africa and significant audiences across Europe, North America and Asia.
Jesper Søgaard, co-founder and CEO of Better Collective, said: “We are very proud to partner with such a well-established news media like PUNCH. Not only will we be partnering with Nigeria’s market leader but this partnership also allows us to establish a presence on the African continent.”
Adeyeye Joseph, MD of PUNCH, added: “We are excited to work with a passionate technology-driven partner like Better Collective. We hope that this partnership will help PUNCH to serve Nigeria’s growing sports betting community with high quality content while also helping our company to further its audience and revenue goals.”
The deal follows on from Better Collective’s global media partnership with football news site Goal at the beginning of March. That deal saw the affiliate take charge of the sports betting section of the Footballco-owned site.
