Better Collective promotes from within for new Latam CEO
Media VP Simon Hovmand-Stilling swaps Europe for South America to lead affiliate’s division out of Rio de Janeiro

Better Collective has promoted experienced executive Simon Hovmand-Stilling to become the affiliate’s new Latam CEO.
Hovmand-Stilling steps up to lead the group’s South American division after more than four years with the company.
He originally joined Better Collective in December 2018 as group director of media sites before being promoted to become group director of media in July 2019.
A dual promotion followed in October 2020 which saw Hovmand-Stilling named group VP of media and commercial sites, as well as general manager for Better Collective’s Paris hub.
He will now swap Copenhagen for Rio de Janeiro as he leads the group’s entry into the growing Latam market.
The new CEO has additionally been named as SVP of media and commercial sites, where he will be responsible for establishing new partnerships with global media brands.
Hovmand-Stilling becomes the latest C-suite appointment for Better Collective’s Latam arm after company stalwart Tomas Vaz de Carvahlo was promoted to become COO of the division in January.
Speaking on his new role, Hovmand-Stilling said: “I am thrilled to announce that I have accepted a new challenge within Better Collective.
“Along with my wonderful family, I have relocated to South America where I will help grow a new branch of the Better Collective family in the years to come,” he added.
