
BetVictor signs Harry Redknapp to front new TV ad campaign
Former Portsmouth manager becomes new brand ambassador for the Gibraltar-based firm


BetVictor has signed Harry Redknapp as its new brand ambassador, with the former Portsmouth manager set to front a new TV and radio ad campaign.
Redknapp joins on a two-year contact, with his first campaign going live today.
The #HeyHarry initiative will see Redknapp appearing on TV and radio ads – supported by digital, PR and social – as well as in content around major UK horse racing events, with casino and help centre integration also among his responsibilities for BetVictor.
BetVictor’s sportsbook director Matt Scarrott said Redknapp’s recent victory on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here showed his ability to bridge the worlds of sport and entertainment and reach new audiences.
“In the marketplace in which BetVictor operates, Harry’s experience and standout appeal are invaluable to us as we strive to capture new players and wider audiences,” added Scarrott.
“Harry’s opinions on football are respected throughout the game and his knowledge of horse racing, which is part of our business’ heritage, makes him a tremendous asset for BetVictor and our customers to tap into – it’s clear that Harry represents the perfect Brand Ambassador for us” added Scarrott.
Redknapp joins Michael Owen and former motorcycle racer winner John McGuinness as fellow BetVictor brand ambassadors.
Redknapp added: “Football and horse racing are two sports that I am really passionate about and I cannot wait to help BetVictor reach new audiences – something I managed to achieve during my time in the jungle. Exciting times ahead.”
