BetVictor debuts new ad campaign
Chairman Victor Chandler features once more, alongside a new character played by comedian Paul Kaye.

Gibraltar-based operator BetVictor launched its latest advertising campaign last night, the first to be produced by newly appointed agency VCCP.
As with the previous campaign featuring game show host Paddy McGuinness, BetVictor chairman Victor Chandler stars in the campaign. However in this instance he is joined by a new character, Maurice, played by comedian and actor Paul Kaye (pictured with Chandler).
BetVictor marketing director Karl Riley said: “This campaign marks an exciting new direction for the BetVictor brand. We’ve injected a truly unique personality into our communications whilst renewing our focus on making the betting experience as enjoyable and easy as possible for our customers.”
VCCP deputy MD Julian Douglas said of the campaign, which is to run in print, TV and online, “Our aim was to differentiate and build loyalty towards BetVictor by creating a distinctive personality and tone of voice that bucks the industry norms “ giving them a positive reason to remember BetVictor beyond this month’s free bet.”
It is the latest move in the operator’s marketing push since it rebranded from previous name Victor Chandler earlier this year in a move which Riley said was designed to “Create consistency internationally.”
