BetVictor marketing director Riley departs
Karl Riley, who oversaw the BetVictor rebrand, leaves the operator after three years

BetVictor director of marketing Karl Riley has left the Gibraltar-licensed operator, eGaming Review can reveal.
Riley, who played an integral role in the bookmaker’s rebrand from previous guise Victor Chandler to BetVictor in late 2011, worked his final day on 19 December after spending three years with the firm.
He also masterminded the current BetVictor ‘Maurice and Victor’ television advertisements starring comedian and actor Paul Kaye and the operator’s chairman Victor Chandler.
“I can sadly confirm Karl has left the business,” a BetVictor spokesperson told eGR. “Karl played an integral part in the successful rebranding of Victor Chandler to BetVictor and he should be extremely proud of his time and achievements here.
“As well as being an excellent marketing director he was first and foremost a friend and universally liked and hugely respected by everyone at BetVictor. We all wish him continued success in whatever he decides to do next in 2014.”
The spokesperson added that it was too early to comment on the process of appointing a successor to Riley. It is also currently unclear what role Riley will take up next.
