BetVictor's Paul Louis handed COO role
Louis shifts from managing director position as previous chief operating officer Matt Scarrott becomes director of sports & VIP

Changes at the top of BetVictor’s management team continue apace with managing director Paul Louis moving into the position of chief operating officer, eGaming Review has learned.
Louis, who joined BetVictor 15 years ago, became MD of the firm back in 2010 and has now been handed COO responsibilities under new chief executive Andreas Meinrad.
The switch has also resulted in a change of role for incumbent COO Matt Scarrott, who has become the operator’s director of sports & VIP.
News of the change comes less than a week after the firm announced it was in the market for an additional eight senior staff as part of Meinrad’s recently revealed three-year growth strategy.
The Gibraltar-based firm is looking to bring on board a new CFO as well as fill roles such as chief commercial officer, director of casino and poker and head of acquisition.
Meinrad, who succeeded Michael Carlton on 1 February, last week told eGR he had been able to identify areas in which the firm needed individuals with “different skills and abilities”.
The former bwin.party man also said BetVictor had combined its product and marketing teams to form a new commercial unit while the operator was in the process of overhauling its CRM and marketing strategies.
