Betware signs EGASA deal
Spanish land-based operator to develop online presence using Betware's online gaming platform

Icelandic software supplier Betware has signed an agreement with Spanish land-based operator Grupo EGASA.
Under the terms of the deal, Betware will supply its online gaming platform to EGASA to allow the company to build its online presence following the opening of the Spanish market, which will open by 30 June this year. It follows Betware’s deal to supply the gaming platform to Cirsa, signed in October last year.
Commenting on the deal, Betware CEO Stefan Hrafnkelsson said: “This agreement is another step towards strengthening our position in the Spanish market; we believe in the success of EGASA’s online venture and look forward to a long cooperative relationship with them.”
Betware’s systems passed compliance tests in November last year, allowing operators on its platform to apply for a Spanish licence.
