
Betway scores Stuttgart sponsorship agreement
Online operator expands marketing presence in the country after adding fourth German football club to portfolio


Betway has expanded its German football sponsorship portfolio after agreeing a partnership with VfB Stuttgart.
The Super Group-owned brand has put pen to paper on an exclusive three-year partnership with Stuttgart as it continues to expand its marketing presence in Germany.
As part of the deal, Betway will be given advertising opportunities across Stuttgart’s LED screens and cam carpets at the club’s home stadium.
The partnership with the five-time national champions follows similar deals in Germany with Eintracht Frankfurt, Schalke 04 and Hertha Berlin.
Betway said the new agreement highlighted the operator’s “ever-growing commitment to supporting the best sporting events around the world”.
Anthony Werkman, Betway CEO, said: “VfB Stuttgart are one of Germany’s most successful football clubs and we’re very proud to become their premium partner on an initial three-year deal.
“This agreement reflects our ambitions as a brand, as the Bundesliga is recognised around the world as one of the biggest football leagues,” he added.
