BlockChain Innovations Corp acquires The Games Company
Gaming platform supplier will integrate The Games Company’s crypto-friendly slots titles
BlockChain Innovations Corp (BCI) has acquired UK-licensed online casino games provider The Games Company (TGC) for an undisclosed price.
Titles from TGC are available in the UK and Canada, as well as markets served from Gibraltar, with several launches from Malta expected early next year.
TGC games like Hippie Chicks, Cash Cowboy, and Lucky 8 Keno are available with tier-one operators including William Hill and BetVictor and the titles offer multi-currency wagering including cryptocurrencies, which proved an attractive proposition for BCI.
BCI CEO Matt Stafford said that by leveraging blockchain technology, TGC products will become provably fair and allow players to independently ensure and verify game fairness.
“Integrating BCI’s technology with TGC’s casino content will allow us to showcase other examples of blockchain applications in the casino content vertical,” said Stafford.
“By adding TGC’s suite of casino content to BCI’s sportsbook, platform, and payments solution, it further establishes BCI as a full-product suite B2B gaming platform supplier with all the advantages of running on blockchain technology,” he added.
