
BMM Testlabs appoints new South Africa compliance manager
Testing laboratory moves to strengthen its South African office with compliance appointment


Gaming testing laboratory BMM Testlabs has announced the appointment of Obed Mathabe to the post of technical compliance manager of its South African office and test lab based in Kyalami, Midrand.
Mathabe has previously worked as a gaming technical manager and previously lead technician at Tsogosun, he has occupied the gaming technical manager role at fellow gaming firm Silverstar Casino.
Zeena Rossouw, vice president of operations and sales in Africa, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Obed to BMM South Africa to join our established technical compliance management team.
“With his prior experience in gaming technical management in the operator space, Obed brings with him vast knowledge and product familiarity accumulated over his many years in the business.”
Obed has previously obtained a Certificate in Management Development Program, NQF 6 issued by the University of Stellenbosch.
BMM authored the first set of independent gaming standards in 1992 and the first set of online gaming standards in 2001. The business currently employs some 325 people in 13 global locations and operates in over 440 jurisdictions.
