BMM Testlabs chosen by Buenos Aires to certify operators
Testing operator will assess all potential egaming licensees for vulnerabilities and system issues

BMM Testlabs has been confirmed as the chosen certification provider for online gambling sites in Buenos Aires.
Under Buenos Aires regulations, all providers of online gaming must have their sites independently certified as safe to operate in the province.
Testing includes simulated internal attacks on the egaming operator’s internal networks, system audits, attacking the operators systems from an external online environment and distributed denial of service (DDOS) style attacks.
If vulnerabilities or issues are identified, operator certificates will be denied until remedial action takes place, which could jeopardise the operator’s licence application.
BMM Testlabs VP of business development for Europe and South America, Marzia Turrini, cited the good working relationship the testing lab had with the regulator as being a factor in its selection as preferred certification body.
“This new measure provided by the IPLYC will allow different providers of online gaming devices to offer the latest products to the operators of the province of Buenos Aires. BMM now has the ability to fully service the entire region,” Turrini added.
A total of 20 operators have registered submitted licence applications for the provinces seven egaming licences, including bet365, William Hill, Paddy Power and Stars Group. All have partnered with local operators as required under the terms of Buenos Aires regulations.
Latest applicants include Luckia, who have partnered with local firm Entrepreneurs Crown and BetCris, who have partnered with local argentine firm Impresora Internacional de Valores.
