Bodog to launch Anonymous Poker Series
Satellite tournaments to be held throughout 2013 with Bodog to fly qualifiers to Manila for Grand Final in January 2014.

Bodog has announced it will launch a year-long poker series made up of online and offline events in 2013, to celebrate the launch of the Bodog Poker Network (BPN), the first poker network “made in Asia for Asia”.
The Anonymous Poker Series will launch in January next year, with a number of new B2B partners joining the network to be announced simultaneously. The event will run for the entire year, culminating in a grand final with a US$100,000 prize, to be held in Manila in January 2014.
Managing director of BPN Jonas Odman explained that the event would allow the operator to show that the network is “the best and safest place for both recreational poker players and operators alike”.
“Operators who service sports bettors and casino players do not want their customers leaking money to non-depositing poker pros who are using sophisticated software in order to win. Our anonymous tables take this unfairness out of the equation, creating a much better experience for the leisure player,” Odman said.
Egaming operators will be able to qualify for the tournament at live events to be held at industry conferences, while poker players will be able to book their place by playing online or at live events throughout Europe and Asia, with all qualifiers to be flown to Manila for the Grand Final.
