
Boss Casino surrenders MGA licence
MGA licence surrendered with betnero and Bootlegger Casino also shuttered immediately

Boss Development Limited, the parent company of Boss Casino, is in the process of surrendering its Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) licence and has ceased operations, effective 8 June.
The B2C licence allows Boss Development to launch casino operations across Boss Casino, as well as additional brands betnero and Bootlegger Casino.
Boss Development was awarded its licence in 2018.
In a statement on the Boss Casino website, the operator has informed customers it is in the process of surrendering its licence and will no longer operate.
The statement read: “We are sad to inform you that Boss Casino is in process of voluntarily surrendering its Malta Gaming Authority licence and shall no longer be operating.”
The operator confirmed that it would remain live will accepting requests from the clients regarding withdrawals and refunds.
Requests to withdraw funds should be made by 8 June and that any remaining funds will be returned using the previous deposit method.
However, statements on the betnero site note the platform will only be down “temporarily”
It remains unclear as to why the operator has chosen to relinquish its licence. EGR has contacted Boss Casino for comment.
